You can walk to our local village of Sedlescombe via the public footpaths directly from Seven Acre Woods and the several routes vary from 35 to 90 minutes and here you will find our local Pub, The Queens Head along with a local Village Store where you can buy most necessities.  The Woodland Trust has some amazing walks through Brede High Woods and the history, scenic paths along with the wildlife and flowers, the bluebells and the wild garlic, will amaze you all through the seasons.

Oh I do like be beside the Seaside...

Sandcastles and donuts galore!

Venture to the nearby bustling seaside town of Hastings or busy Camber alternatively head to the quieter Winchelsea or Bexhill.  Hastings you'll find fish and chips, arcades, shopping, crazy golf and all the fun at the fair! Where Winchelsea is quieter, with not much more than a cafe... but idyllic walks and perfect views of beach and countryside.  The best of both worlds and beaches only a short drive from Seven Acre Woods so you can set off early and be there before the crowds!

Castles of Bodiam and Abbey of Battle.  Egerton or Alexandra Park.  Coffee and cake or a stroll round the b shops... plenty of Farm Shops and Villages to meander round and seek the history of the area in such a beautiful part of the world.
